NZWEA prepares submissions on a wide range of topics to promote the development of wind energy as a reliable, sustainable, clean and commercially viable energy source. Our regulatory submissions include providing support for members seeking consents for new wind farms, technical and electricity industry rule book changes and the development of energy sector strategy.
The Association also supports other forms of renewable energy development as part of its strategy to assist New Zealand achieve its net zero carbon targets.
