Offshore Renewable Energy Forum

The New Zealand Wind Energy Association, Ara Ake, Te Puna Umanga Venture Taranaki Trust and the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce are excited to host the 2025 Offshore Renewable Energy Forum, beginning Tuesday, 1 April with a networking dinner. The forum will follow on Wednesday, 2 April, 8.30am-5pm, in New Plymouth.

The forum is dedicated to advancing the commercial success of offshore wind, focusing on investment, supply chain, and policy frameworks driving industry growth in Aotearoa. ​​​​​

Through engaging discussions, expert panels, and networking opportunities, the aim of this event is to foster strategic partnerships that will accelerate the growth of offshore renewable energy.

Confirmed speakers include Hannah Fallon, Senior Project Lead, from Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, the UK’s leading technology innovation and research centre for offshore renewable energy, and Ben Vaughan, CEng IMechE, P.Eng PEGNL, Energy Lead, NZ, Arup.
